All Good Things Are Bound To Come To An End

Woke up early this morning. Had already packed my bags last night so I only needed some finishing touches. Went to Hospital Ranau to print out my flight itinerary from Daniel's mom's office. On the way, we passed the OT department.

We left Ranau at 10.00 am. Here goes a two and a half hour drive~

All packed up (and patched up) and redy to go!

You can see Mt Kinabalu from Daniel's place.

Pekan Nabalu. A lot of souvenirs here.

Daniel and Andy went to the toilet. Try to spot them.

After quite some time, we finally reached KK. Went to Sabah Institute of Art at KK Timesquare first because Andy and Natan (Daniel's brother) wanted to enroll into that college.

We parked at the back of KK Timesquare.

Sabah Institute of Art.

Inside KK Timesquare.

The front of KK Timesquare.

After that we went to Penampang because Daniel and family wanted to visit some relatives.

Sabah has the best roundabouts in Malaysia. They're all very interesting.

After that it was straight to Terminal 1~! Daniel is flying with AirAsia, so he's suppose to check in at a different terminal (I'm flying with Firefly).

Terminal 1 has a real classy look.

You can see the Firefly ad at the post.

Met Rafiuddin, Hanis, Angeline, Sydelle, Tata and Lijae (correct me if I spelled the name wrongly). Sadly, Angeline and Sydelle didn't follow us because the weren't on the same flight as us, and their flight was rescheduled.

There was a lot of DAP people in Senai airport. I didn't know why, but the reason was soon clear:

And who is that?

He's none other than Penang's chief minister: Lim Guan Eng!

Managed to take a photo with him.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not involved in politics, and I don't like politics, and I never was a fan of any political party despite having once rented a MIC hall for my taekwondo class. I just took a photo with him because I'm a Penangite and he is the chief minister of Penang. Nothing wrong with that right? After that, we took a cab home.

Too many luggage that we had to pile them on our laps.

Din somehow looking very happy despite the back of the cab being cramped.

At last, I'm home :D

And so I spent the evening uploading pictures and updating my blog in the TV room. Nice to be back in JB, although many people hasn't return to the college yet. Well, at least there's still company:

Well folks, this is the end of my adventure in Sabah. Hope you all enjoyed reading about my trip. I might make another travel blog at the end of this year. Not sure where I would go to though, after spending so much money (estimated RM3300.00 or almost US$1095). Maybe I should make a travel blog about Penang. Would save me a lot of money :D

If I do (I said if), then stay tuned to my next blog: chaosinthenorth.blogspot.com! (Well, since I already got chaosinthesouth and chaosinnorthernborneo, so it'll be chaosinthenorth then).

It's shopping time~

Ontok di hari tiga,
Tamu lo Tamparuli,
Mingusuk po hilo kadai,
Mogihum do kasut tinggi~

Okay, so today is not a Wednesday, and I'm not in Tamparuli and I didn't go to the tamu to look for high heels. But still, that's the opening song for this post, since I went to Ranau's end of the month tamu. I know, it's the first of July, but the tamu started yesterday, so it's an end of the month tamu. We didn't go yesterday because we decided to stay home and rest.

One part of Ranau's end of the month tamu.

Actually I'm quite happy that I was able to go to a tamu today, not because I've never been to a market before, but because the things there are very cheap and I missed out on KKs Sunday tamu and didn't go to Tamparuli and Kota Belud so I didn't get to go to the famous tamu hari tiga (Not sure if it's famous, but it was mentioned in Jambatan Tamparuli, that is the song above, and Sayang Kinabalu, which you are currently listening to) and the tamus in Kota Belud (According to my sister and the visit Malaysia signboard at the airport, KB is famous for it's tamus).

So anyway we went the tamu at around 9 am. Was very crowded and we had problems finding a parking space. Managed to get one after searching for some time lol. Wasn't too far away. The tamu at Ranau is split into two parts, separated by a road. It's right next to Liwagu river. But it's the less raging part of Liwagu river. Well, it wasn't too special, except that there is a pet stall and a lot of korean clothes stalls. There are a lot of korean clothes stall. All bundles style. They import used clothes from korea to sell, so you get a lot of clothes you can't find here. There was a lot of soldier uniforms though. Probably due to South Korea's compulsory national service. Now this tamu sells real korean stuff. Beats all that K-Pop fashion shops in the Peninsula :D

Daniel bought himself a pair of sunglasses worth RM15.00, while I spent RM45.00 on clothes. That's from my last RM50.00. Need Well, I hardly buy my own clothes, so why would I suddenly buy clothes, especially here in Sabah? Well, check out what I bought and you'll understand:

Nike Dobok Top (RM15.00)

Taekwondo Shorts~! :D (RM5.00 each)

Cool, I got my own brand: Martial Teoh :D

It's a RM45.00 well spent I'd say. You can't get these stuff any cheaper. Now all I'd got to do is change the collar into a black collar on my nike uniform and voila, I got a great uniform :D

Well, the last day in Ranau has come to an end. Will be leaving for KK tomorrow. Can't believe my month-long vacation in Sabah is finally coming to an end.

Charity Dinner

Guess what? I'm in KUDAT~

But where is Safhrenis???? 0____0

Gotcha. I'm not really at Kudat. I'm here to reveal the biggest mystery of this blog:

Does this photo look familiar?

The mysterious person revealed!

It was just a coincidence that we were going to Tawau on the same day.

Well anyway, back to the story. Oh wait a minute, no I'm not in Kudat. I'm still in Ranau. It was recuperation day for me and Daniel. He slept very late last night and woke up early to send his brother. After he came back he slept the whole day hahaha...

We went to a charity dinner that night.

They had a live band.

Andy singing a song.

Guests seem to be enjoying their time...

Andy and Orlivini duet (Not sure how to spell her name)

There was a lucky draw, and Andy got a prize, which we shared in Daniel's house lol :D
